There are 2 things to consider when downloading the UP Studio software, what version of firmware your printer has and what OS version you are running on your computer (Applies to Windows only)


Checking Firmware


To check the firmware version you will need to have either a printer with a touchscreen or some version of the UP/UP Studio software installed on either a Windows or Mac computer.


Windows and Mac


1. Open the UP Studio software


2. Connect your printer while powered on to the computer via USB or Wifi


3. Navigate to the Settings menu on the top right corner of the Up Studio software


4. Open the Printer List

 

5. If the printer is connnected and selected you should see a green tick and a small circlur icon on the bottom right



6. You will now be able to see the firmware version of the printer


Touchscreen


1. Turn on the printer


2. Open the information menu



3. You will now be able to see the firmware version of the printer



If the firmware of your printer is 3.30 or lower you will need to download version 2.5.x.x and if your firmware is 3.31 or higher then the latest version of UP Studio (2.6.4x.x at the point in time of updating this document) should work fine with your printer.


Checking OS Version (Windows Only)


To check what version of software to run on your computer (x86 or x64) please follow the instructions below:


Windows 7, 8 and 10


1. Press the Windows key + Pause | Break key (Located on the top right of your keyboard)

2. Check what version windows you are currently running

Note: if you are using a x86 version of windows, this will display as "32bit"



Windows 10


1.  Right click on the windows icon in the bottom left corner of the screen and click system
